That's why we launched our TELUS Health Wellbeing Awards, an initiative designed to recognize and celebrate businesses and individuals from across the world that go above and beyond to prioritize wellbeing within their organizations.
There are 14 award categories distributed between global, regional, and individual pillars, all designed to recognize employers and employees that make an outstanding contribution to wellbeing.
We are pleased to announce the winners of our Wellbeing Awards. These organizational and individual leaders have showcased an unwavering dedication to fostering healthy work environments and enhancing workplace wellbeing.
Air Canada’s innovative launch of their UBY portal brings together multiple dimensions of employee wellbeing, which allows their team to get an overall view of employee health trends. The portal includes a health risk assessment, employee assistance program, and virtual care, and has already shown to increase employee engagement with their health benefits.
Philips’ Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing strategy is focused on attracting and retaining diverse talent, embedding mental health into their daily work, and training people leaders to support mental health. Notably, they have achieved 32 per cent of women in senior leadership positions - a 13 per cent increase in 5 years.
The award winner for this category is Nutrien, in recognition of the “Culture of Care” they have built and the mental health strategy that is centered around that idea, and for ensuring their employees are, and feel safe. They have created ways to collect and implement employee feedback, and their leaders are committed to fostering that culture by developing, implementing and promoting programs that support employee mental health.
ASML’s commitment to cultivating wellbeing through work enjoyability and flexibility, encouraging employees to integrate physical activity into their work day, and putting emphasis on community engagement, has made a notable impact on employee wellbeing.
Engagement activities from these leaders include innovative wellbeing initiatives, employee and community engagement, leadership in mental health advocacy, healthy workplace culture, and impactful health and wellbeing policies.
Hydro One has demonstrated a multifaceted approach to wellbeing, developing programs that meet their employees where they are, and offering inclusive programs like Indigenous CBT, health screening clinics and therapy dogs.
Humana has developed a comprehensive, multi-level approach to employee health, wellbeing and engagement, including regular educational events and cross-functional collaboration.
Chevron has implemented multiple strategies to support a diverse workforce that includes remote and hybrid workers, leveraging data to build those strategies, and empowering employees to prioritize work life balance.
Arup demonstrated leadership in workplace wellness through their "whole-person" wellbeing strategy. One of the highlights was an impactful storytelling campaign featuring personal stories about anxiety, depression, and grief that garnered over 90,000 social media views and led to the creation of a 250-member neurodiversity network.
Siemens’ Feel Well program stands out for its employee-driven approach, and its tailored initiatives for mobile workers. Their program has created a holistic, community-driven wellbeing movement that authentically engages employees across all aspects of their lives.

Marina’s efforts in the development and launch of the “Stress Thermometer” initiative has made a positive impact on workplace wellbeing for Arup’s Madrid office.
Sarah demonstrated her commitment to wellbeing with her courage to share her mental health journey with others, as well as through the creation of the Mental Health Network to help support her peers.
Tracy’s commitment to the success of Amcor’s wellbeing program and her creative initiatives to encourage employees to prioritize their health and wellbeing has made her an impactful champion of workplace wellbeing.
Noemie has dedicated herself to introducing and supporting wellbeing initiatives at the FSRA, especially on her return from her own medical leave.
Pina is a champion of community engagement, mental health advocacy, wellbeing policies and an overall healthy workplace culture at Air Canada.
