Clinique chiropratique Roy has been in business for over 40 years and offers a variety of chiropractic care to patients of all ages. Dr. Tim Paquette has been the owner since 2017 and has worked for the clinic since 2014. As change never happens alone, the clinic adopted the eClaims service at the same time as the change in ownership in order to optimize its operations and further satisfy its patients.
Established in Val-d’Or, Quebec, Clinique chiropratique Roy has a chiropractor-owner and two assistants: Véronique and Sabrina. The assistants were the ones who discovered the eClaims service.
For both assistants, eClaims not only brought the clinic up to date with technology, but also addressed a comment often made by patients. “Many would say to us: ‘I only pay the difference at my dentist,’” Véronique reports. “They are directly connected with the insurance companies,” patients would add. Warmly welcomed by Dr. Paquette, the solution proposed by the two assistants was quickly implemented and now connects the clinic to several insurance companies.

For nearly four years now, Véronique and Sabrina have been happy to offer a value-added service to their patients by billing their insurance company directly with eClaims. “We make life easier for patients by submitting their claims because many don’t like to do it or don’t know how to do it,” Véronique says. For patients, eClaims also means financial relief because it allows them to only pay the amount not covered by their insurance provider. “Patients love it,” she adds.
